2019 – Indian Rocks Beach Clean Up

We are excited to announce our third annual beach cleanup! We thank you for your interest in helping us keep Indian Rocks Beach clean during this 4th of July holiday. If you’d like to participate, please sign up at https://signup.com/go/YmdkzyY

We are asking for volunteers to pass out bags to visitors on the 4th of July at various accesses (3rd, 4th, 5th, 8th, 12th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 23rd) for one hour. We hope this will encourage everyone to leave only their footprints behind. We will provide trash bags for you to pass out to visitors and ask that you share with them what we are doing and request that they take their trash with them, if possible. While only 2 volunteers are needed per access, you are more than welcome to bring a friend or spend more time walking the beach and sharing our goal!

Volunteers are also needed on July 5th from 8:30am – 9:30 am at the beach access of their choosing. We will collect additional trash found along Indian Rocks Beach and consolidate what has already been collected. Bags and gloves will be available at 4th Avenue Beach Access for pickup, if needed. If you have a net, feel free to bring one to skim our waters and clean any fireworks debris/garbage. Following a successful cleanup, head on over to Crabby Bill’s Indian Rocks Banquet Room (formerly IRB Sushi) for a complimentary breakfast buffet, starting at 9:30am

This event couldn’t take place without the wonderful community organizations we’ve partnered with, including Indian Rocks Beach Homeowners Association, Rotary Club of Indian Rocks Beach, Cookie Cutter Hair Salon, Landers Air Conditioning, The Biltmore Group International Real Estate, and Moston’s Custom Apparel

Remember to bring plenty of water and sunscreen!
